Kolkata Institute of Management (KIM) is an initiative of Saraswati International Education and Welfare Foundation (SIEWF) which was established in the year 2007. Although it is the youngest kid on the block it has the advantage of being closely attuned to the pulse of the current requirements of industry. Both India and China have vibrant economies today and are marching forward with confident steps that have given tough challenge to the western world.  But even till date there are very few management institutions in the eastern part of the world that can get ranking in top 100 B Schools of the world. In India approximately 1, 30, 000 MBA / PGDBM qualified students are rolled out every year. Due to very poor quality of education, only 10% are able to get their dream jobs.
